Radovljica Chocolate Festival cancelled

13.03.2020 10:24

In light of the current situation, the Radovljica Public Institute for Tourism and Culture has taken the decision to cancel this year's Radovljica Chocolate Festival, which was due to take place from 17-19 April 2020.

The decision to cancel this year's Radovljica Chocolate Festival, which was due to take place from 17-19 April 2020, was taken as it has been assessed that it is unlikely that in the next month the situation in Slovenia will change to such an extent that such a large culinary event could be held. There will not be an alternative date, since summer is not an appropriate time for a chocolate-related event, while numerous other culinary events take place in autumn, therefore holding yet another 'sweet' event at that time would not make sense

Despite this, we hope that by May the health of Slovenia's population and the world will be stable enough to allow visitors to our beautiful town and surroundings. At present it is anticipated that we will be able to invite you to hike, dine in exceptional restaurants, visits museums and attend events in Slovenia's 'sweetest town' in May.

The next Radovljica Chocolate Festival will take place from 16-18 April 2021.
