Fishing for lovers of wild and unspoilt nature.
Fishing in the Sava river begins as early as 1st March. The waters of the Sava Bohinjka and Sava Dolinka, whose currents merge into the Sava river in Lancovo, are home to a variety of species of fish.
The waters are rich with brown trout, rainbow trout and grayling.
In addition to the Sava river, fishing is also possible in the Lipnica stream and the Vošče pond.
The waters managed by the Radovljica Fishing Club are divided into four districts:
A pleasant, interactive walking trail follows the Sava river and its rich diversity.
The confluence of the Sava Dolinka and Sava Bohinjka rivers is in Lancovo below Radovljica.
The Lipnica Valley inspires with its beautiful nature and heritage of ironworking in Kropa and Kamna Gorica.
The trail begins at the source of the Lipnica stream and leads over numerous small wooden bridges crossing the Grabnarica stream and beautiful fields to reach a small lake, known as the 'Count's Lake'.
