Tasting of Slovenian Wines

Discover excellent Slovenian wines at tastings of three, five, seven or ten samples of wines from all of Slovenia’s wine growing regions.

The Sodček Wine Bar, which is located at the entrance to the picturesque old town centre of Radovljica, has for over thirty years been showcasing excellent Slovenian wines from all of the country's wine growing regions. The experienced staff will lead your guests on an unforgettable wine journey. The wine tasting sessions are a lesson on the wine growing in Slovenia, during which wine growers tell their stories and explain the winemaking process. You will find out all about the special characteristics of Slovenian wines, from how wine is influenced by the climate, the composition of the soil, the location as well as production techniques.

Various tasting experiences are available, ranging from three up to ten wine samples. Cheese from local farms, the finest Karst prosciutto and olive oil are served alongside the wines. For those who prefer something stronger, there are also tasting sessions that include distilled Slovenian beverages. Everything served is chosen carefully from boutique producers, which ensures an authentic experience, full of flavour and knowledge.
