From the beginning of summer 2018, a mobile app is available for guided tours of the town centre of Radovljica.
The diStory app was created as part of a project entitled 'Digital Stories of Small Historic Towns'. The international 'Digital Stories of Small Historic Towns' project united three towns from three countries: Radovljica (Slovenia), Fermo (Italy) and Topola (Serbia). The project was co-financed by the European Union as part of the Creative Europe programme. Among the results of the project, the participants created a mobile app for their town. The interactive guide, intended for domestic and foreign visitors, uses digital technology to present cultural heritage in a modern way. Whilst wandering through the town using the app, visitors can discover its attractions whilst also, through the use of pictorial material, experience its past.
The application is available free in Android and iPhone mobile stores.
