A green and safe travel destination

Although the organisation of events and tourist experiences is currently not yet possible, at Radovljica Tourist Board we are already putting together events according to the principle of guidelines that ensure a reduced risk of the spreading of infections. We are aware that maintaining health is an important aspect both in organising events and in providing information about tourist products and services.

Radovljica has already therefore obtained the certificate ‘Safe and healthy meetings and events', which is awarded by the Slovenian Convention Bureau. With two separate certificates, which apply to event venues and event organisers, Tourism Radol'ca is committed to continuing to organise events at which all the conditions for safe and healthy socialising will be met.

At the same time, Tourism Radol'ca has already begun implementation of the Green&Safe label, which is awarded by the Slovenian Tourist Board, and we have also invited tourism providers in the destination to do so. Acquisition of this label, which has also been placed at the entrance to the Tourist Information Centre and will be included in other communication tools, is confirmation that Radol'ca is a sustainable and responsible destination. The label, which is awarded by the Slovenian Tourist Board, was awarded The Golden City Gate silver award for excellence in tourism promotion at the international ITB Berlin NOW tourism fair.

Through these measures we will continue to inspire visitors to visit green and safe Radol'ca.
