This year, the Radovljica Public Institute for Tourism and Culture is putting together a new tourist strategy, while at the same time – by introducing a survey for visitors – it is fulfilling its obligations and continuing its activities as a Slovenia Green Gold Destination.
The Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism is a national programme and certification scheme that unites all endeavours for the sustainable development of tourism in Slovenia under the umbrella brand Slovenia Green. In 2020, the Municipality of Radovljica obtained the Slovenia Green: GOLD sustainability label. As a commitment to the sustainable operation and organisation of the destination, visitor opinions are extremely important to us. Therefore we have put together a survey for visitors. The survey is available in English and Slovenian. We would appreciate it if you could take 10 minutes to complete the survey on the link below and in doing so help to co-shape the direction of tourism development in the future.
The new tourism strategy will outline the guidelines for the development of tourism in the period from 2023 onwards, as the previous tourism strategy expired at the end of 2021.
You are also invited to enter your e-mail in a special window in the survey and compete for a prize. At the end of October, five winners will be drawn from among all completed surveys, who will receive a size 21x21cm picture of Radovljica, by post.
The town of Radovljica has received the title and label Best Tourism Village, which was awarded for the first time this year by the World Tourist Organisation.
